Website development

A website that works as hard as you do.

Custom websites for small businesses, trades, professional services, shops, and restaurants. Built fast, built to be found, and built so you are never stuck waiting on someone else to change a phone number.

Starting at

$850

For a well defined project. Anything unusual gets quoted after we talk.

Most small business websites fail for boring reasons. They load slowly on a phone. The hours are wrong. The contact form quietly stopped working two years ago and nobody noticed. They were built on a template that fought the owner every time something needed to change.

I build sites that avoid all of that. Every site is designed around what your customers actually came to do, whether that is call you, find your hours, request a quote, or place an order.

What you get

What is actually included.

A design made for your business

Not a theme with your logo dropped in. Layout, type, and color are chosen around your work, your photos, and the customers you want.

Built mobile first

Most of your visitors are on a phone. Every page is designed at phone width first and then opened up for tablet and desktop.

Real speed

Statically rendered pages, optimized images, and no bloated page builder loading forty scripts before your headline appears.

Search fundamentals included

Unique titles and descriptions per page, clean heading structure, a sitemap, structured data, and local business markup.

Working contact paths

Forms that validate, protect against spam, and actually deliver. Click to call and click to text where you want them.

You own it

When the project is done, the code and the content are yours. Host it with me or take it anywhere you like.

Who this is for

A good fit if...

  • Trades and home services that need calls and quote requests
  • Restaurants, salons, and shops that need hours, menus, and directions
  • Professional services that need to look established
  • Anyone replacing a slow, dated, or half-finished site
How it goes

The process.

  1. 01

    We talk

A real conversation about your business, your customers, and what the site has to accomplish. No sales script.

  2. 02

    Structure and design

I map the pages and design the look. You see it early and often, not at the very end.

  3. 03

    Build

The site gets built for real, with your actual content, on a private preview link you can open any time.

  4. 04

    Review and launch

You walk through it, we fix what you want changed, then it goes live with SSL and search setup handled.

Questions

Things people ask.

How long does a small business site take?

Most land between two and four weeks from the point where I have your content. A single landing page is usually under a week.

What do you need from me?

Your logo if you have one, photos of your work, and a rough sense of what you want each page to say. If writing is not your thing, I can draft it and you edit.

Can I edit it myself afterward?

Yes. Tell me up front which parts you want to change regularly and I will build those so you can manage them without touching code.

What if I already have a website?

I will look at what you have first. Sometimes a redesign is the answer and sometimes fixing what exists is cheaper and smarter. I will tell you which one I think it is.
